Appearance: white granular or crystal powder
Properties: density 1．429g／cm3, m.p. 253°C, soluble in ethanol; non-toxic, non-corrosive; has reducing power, can react with strong oxidants; can be easily deliquesced.
Use: In leather making; as catalysts; as reducing agent in dyeing industry; in the production of rongalite, oxalic acid and formic acid
